Welcome to the next edition of our blog! As it’s funding application time, which at the best of times can be a little complicated, we thought a little how-to guide might be handy!

To start your application, the best place to head is to the Childcare Choices website. It’s a really simple website to navigate, which will show you all the different funding options available. They have also produced this little video to explain it further!

Right at the top, you will put in a little info about the people applying for funding, as well as your partner (if this applies). From there it will tell you which options could be available to you.

If you are applying for the 30 free hours (which most probably should be!), you can scroll down to that section, which will explain a little more about it, as well as pointing you towards two more handy tools. 

The first is the government’s Childcare Calculator, which will ask you a series of questions about you and your family, and then let you know how much funding is available to you. 

The second is an Application Form, which is needed for anyone wanting to access funding from September onwards (we really need your codes by the 27th August ahead of the funding starting on 7th September). Again, it’s really intuitive & easy to use and will walk you through the process step by step.
