This week at Muddy Boots Acomb is our Big Book week, and we are very excited about it! We have got different events throughout the week to celebrate our love of stories, and the world of imagination they open up!
Monday 25th November – The Big Red Bus!
To kick start our Muddy Boots Book Week the big red bus will be in the top car park all day, from 9am-6pm.
The children will be able to access the bus through the day for a special story time, as well as it being open to parents to checkout on the evening. Books will start from £4 and are up to 70% off RRP, so its well worth checking out!
Tuesday 26th November – Teddy Bears Picnic
On Tuesday our little ones will be bringing their favourite furry friend along for a play day. We will be reading stories, playing games and having a lovely time at the Teddy Bears Picnic.
We will also have a visitor from Acomb Library, who will be coming to read a story to the children and tell them all about what the library has to offer.
Thursday 28th November – PJ Day
Thursday is all about coming dressed in your cosiest PJ’s!
We will be wrapping up warm to read stories and enjoy some yummy hot chocolate!
Parent Led Story Times
We would also love it if some of our parents could come and share a story with the children throughout the week. There are set story times for each room, so please check the times below to see if you are able to attend. Any parents who attend one of these sessions with their child will get a free gift as a thank you from us:
