We often get asked if we have a school day session offering at Muddy Boots, which operates the same way a school nursery in its hours and 38-week pattern.
The answer… yes!
At Muddy Boots Acomb, Stamford Bridge, and Wilberfoss, we offer all of the above, and it’s called Innovators!
What is Innovators?
Innovators are our term-time only, school-hours sessions, which run within our preschool rooms at Stamford Bridge and Wilberfoss, and within their own room at Acomb. They all run based around school hours (see below for all the details), and run alongside local school holidays.
Throughout the day, the Innovators enjoy our unique, high-quality approach to childcare, spending lots of time outdoors with their key workers. Throughout the day they also enjoy plenty of snacks and a yummy home-cooked lunch to keep them going until pickup!
Who can attend Innovators?
Our Innovator sessions are open to any child who is eligible to receive their 3-year-old funding, meaning anyone receiving their 15/30 hours funding can stretch it a little further. They are also our fully-funded option, meaning there are no additional charges.
We do allow people the opportunity to pay for the sessions if they wish to start early, depending on which term they start to receive their funding (for example, if your child is born in February, so will receive funding from April, you could utilise the sessions from January-March at full cost).
